An Evening at the Lake

Children from the 7th Great Chart Beavers explored Singleton Lake on a sunny evening, the tour around the lake gave a good opportunity for the intrepid beavers to take photographs along the way.

The children took creative photographs of their natural surroundings by using a photography trail. The pictures of the lake and surroundings explored movement, natural patterns and the children were encouraged to look all around them including up into the tree canopy above the paths and trails around the lake.

Singleton Lake is used by the Ashford Angling Society as well as being popular with local people for walking and cycling. It attracts a wide range of bird species including Great Crested Grebe and Canadian Geese as well as providing a haven for a at least 3 species of bat.
